I’ve been writing thrillers for longer than I care to admit — dark academia, conspiracy, biotech, espionage, psychological suspense — anywhere the tension runs high and the answers don’t come easy. After years of honing my craft in private, 2026 is the year the back catalogue finally meets the world, starting with The Saltmere Subjects, a four-book series that sits somewhere between science thriller and literary suspense.

I specialise in stories about ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances, where every choice has consequences and trust is a luxury no one can afford. I’m drawn to characters who find themselves in impossible situations, forced to make decisions that will change everything — the kind of stories where you think you know what’s coming, until you don’t.

Writing has always been about exploring the ‘what ifs’ that keep me awake at night. What if the person you trusted most was lying? What if that coincidence wasn’t a coincidence at all? What if you had one chance to get it right, and everything depended on it?

I’m based in England, where the grey skies and long nights provide the perfect backdrop for contemplating humanity’s capacity for both courage and darkness — which also explains the British spelling.
